Quick update

Lincoln is creeping all over the place. He went backwards across my living room yesterday. He has two teeth.
I quit breastfeeding and we started formula over the weekend. We have a totally different baby. He is sleeping at night, taking 2-3 naps during the day, you can sit down and hold him I don't have to walk him anymore. I am so happy. It is so nice to sit and rock my baby. He is also spitting up a lot less. I love being a mom. I am still breastfeeding him in the morning (I hate being engored).
-We went camping a couple weekends ago. We had a great time. The weather was great.
-I had my first haircut by someone other than my mom. It was scary and exciting all at once.
-Rob is trying to sell his Harley. He got into hunting camp up north and he can't have 3 expensive hobbies. So that is the one he is choosing to give up.(haha)
-I am back to work. I only work 3 days a week.

I think that is about it. I am going to try to update more often. Life has been so busy.

My Birthday

Today was my big day. I am now 27, which is scary. I can't believe it. I had a great day. Lincoln and I hung out while Rob was at work. When he got home we went to Los tres amigos for dinner. It was good and quick. When you have your little one in tow all I want to do is eat and get out. We sat out on the patio and Lincoln was an angel. I had cake and ice cream at my mom and dad's. My sister taught me how to use facebook. That was my day.

Ludington

Rob, Lincoln, and I went to Ludington this past weekend. Rob was playing in a hockey tourney. We had a great time. It was so nice to get away. It did rain the whole time that we were there. Rob played really well. I was suprised by how good he has gotten. I was able to meet some of the guys that will be on his fall team. They were really cool to hang out with. I was nervous about how they would react to Lincoln. They were very patient and understanding. By the way, none of them are married or have kids.

Busy week

I had an exciting week this week. Rob and I bought a travel trailer. It is a 1998 Nomad and it sleeps 6-8 people. I can't wait to use it!! We are talking about going up to the U.P next summer.
I was able to see Leslie and Ruby. She is beautiful. Seeing her made me think about how big Lincoln is now. I don't remember him being that small. How bad is that?
Rob and I went to a wedding. We had a great time. I drank to much. And of course Lincoln got up 3 times that night. I had to keep a hand on the wall to stop the spinning. He then got up at 8:00, I was not ready to get up. But, we made it though the day. I don't know how I use to go to the bar every weekend and drink like that or more. I do not miss those days.
Lincoln full belly laughs up a storm. Mainly with Rob. I may be Number 1 (that's what Rob calls me) but Lincoln loves his dad. He will see Rob and know that he is going to play with him. My baby loves peas, weird. That is his favorite food so far.

I also have a busy week this week. I have to pick my sister up from the airport, work, and then renew my ACLS (advanced cardiac life support). I am hoping the school is going to renew our contracts this week. Where did summer go???

Tooth

Lincoln has his first tooth poping out. It would be his bottom left. I was letting him chew on my hand and I felt something sharp. Also, he rolled over yesterday. I walked in to his room and he was laying on his belly looking at me!! It has been a busy week.

Baby Foods

We have started baby food. Lincoln loves it. We have tried banana, sweet potato, cereal, avacado. Next up is peas. I think making it is super easy. Lincoln has been trying to take food out of my hand. My mom, sister, and myself went to shipshewna (spelling error) and we were eating lunch and Lincoln was trying to grab my drink and then my chips out of my hand. I was talking and he was trying so hard to get the chip. Rob feeds him dinner and I think that he enjoys doing that. This week we are going to start doing cereal with bananas in the morning and either a food at dinner or lunch.

Lincoln had his 2nd set of shots. They didn't go as well as the first but he was a brave boy. He is 25.5 inches long and weighs 14 pounds 15 ounces.

Rob has been working nights the past 2 weeks. I am ready for him to be done doing that. We have our house up for sale. Lots of people call but they want to do a land contract or rent. I chopped my hair all off. I think I am finally getting use to it. It was falling out d/t the hormone changes :( I need to buy a high chair. I think that is all that is new for now. Life has been really easy going. I have had a great summer. I am looking forward to getting back to work.

Bananas

I started Lincoln on bananas. He has been eyeing my food so why not. He loves them and cannot get enough. It is so fun to feed him. I am sure it will become a chore but right now it is great. Rob loves to feed him also. I think next I will try sweet potatoes or avacodos. I am also making my own baby food. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.
